Marcus joined citruspr in July 2008.  After completing a journalism postgraduate at the London College of Communication in 1999, he has worked as a freelance travel journalist for eight years, writing features for UK publications including The Guardian, The Independent on Sunday, London Evening Standard, Sunday Times Travel Magazine, Wanderlust, Marie Claire, expedia.com and thehotelguru.com.  He has also worked in radio and television.

Press trips have ranged from extreme snowmobiling in Russia to hotel reviews in Madrid, surfing in Australia to heli-hiking in Canada.  In 2006 he was the commissioning editor on bmi's inflight magazine Voyager.  He now lives in West Sussex.

He is not the famous chef, although he does cook a competitive chicken tikka masala.
